The Dolomitenlauf - Race Camp, Austria

The Dolomitenlauf has been a cornerstone of the WL Calendar for over 50 years. With its motto of ‘Everyone is a winner over themselves’ the Dolomitenlauf focuses not only on athletic performance, but above all on the personal experience which is true to the very essence of Wildtrack Nordic’s philosophy.

All participants are celebrated at the finish line, regardless of their ranking. This appreciative atmosphere, combined with the unique backdrop of the Dolomites and professional organisation, makes the Dolomitenlauf an unforgettable experience for all.

The race location moved in 2022 to the picturesque Osttirol village of Obertilliach, which is snow sure and home to the very modern Nordic Centre, which ensures immaculately groomed trails to train on and fantastic race infrastructure.

The race trails wind their way on the sunny south side of the wild and romantic Lienz Dolomites at a little over 1500m altitude, which keeps the snow crisp and fresh. The race is 2 loops of 21 km, and the terrain is undulating without any particularly large climbs, which makes for fast and enjoyable racing.
