Hotels, Food & transport
We choose destinations we love to ski and book hotels we’d happily stay in ourselves. We have intentionally selected properties with first-class amenities and trail-perfect locations. Our ethos is to deliver the highest-quality experience in every sense.
When touring or at World Loppet races, premium hotels may not be available. We will use the best accommodation available and price trips accordingly. We share full accommodation details in advance, so you will know exactly where you’ll be staying.
We pick hotels that are known for their gastronomy, that specialise in using locally sourced and seasonal produce. These are destination restaurants with distinctive wine cellars and their own distilleries.
You’re on holiday not a luggage relay. Unlike most operators, we don’t ask you to wrangle public transport from the airport to the resort. Your guide will meet you in the arrivals lounge and transfer you and the group by private transfer straight to your hotel.
When you book, we’ll confirm the recommended airport and an arrival time window based around direct UK arrival times. If any local transfers are needed during the week, we’ll handle those too. The only exception is World loppet race days, where you’ll use the official event transport to the start.
bespoke customer experience
Service Quality
We’re small by design. Quality not volume drives every decision. From your first enquiry to the final glide, you have direct access to someone who knows every detail of your week and can give clear, immediate answers.
No Price Hikes
Once your booking is confirmed and the deposit is paid, your trip price is guaranteed—no surcharges, even if exchange rates move. Prices on our website may change over time as total operating costs vary, so the best way to secure the lowest rate is to book early. If you’ve locked your trip, that’s the price you’ll pay.
Solo Travellers
There’s no single-traveller surcharge as solo adventurers are the bedrock of our community. By default, we book you into a room which you will share with another same-gender guest. Many guests arrive solo and leave with new friends; the WTN community is strong, welcoming, and full of like-minded skiers.
Prefer your own space? Private rooms are potentially available for a supplement (as a guide, ~£55 per night), which varies by week and venue. Please contact us for the exact price and availability for your trip.
coaching & performance
Group Sizes
We keep our group sizes small, between 4 and 6 people per guide, as that’s the perfect size for true coaching. Having smaller groups also keeps you safer, which is vital on longer tours and changing mountain conditions. We have a holistic approach to coaching, and smaller group sizes means we have more time to provide technical knowledge and feedback through one-to-one coaching and video analysis.
Equipment
We provide the highest quality equipment that is suitable to your technical level and the trip. We know how important it is to have the right equipment - new, comfortable and well-maintained. If something fails on snow, we will swap it immediately so you don’t lose time skiing. We believe the right equipment turns good coaching into great skiing.
Safety
Your safety comes first. Our guides are professionally qualified BASI instructors, certified first-aiders, undergo annual skills assessments and receive ongoing CPD. Every trip has a Risk Assessment and Emergency Action Plan, and guides will carry emergency equipment as required. Each morning we review a daily risk assessment and brief the group. Plans are adjusted in real time for snow, weather and trail conditions, and your guide will advise any changes to the programme. We kindly ask all guests to follow their instructions - they’re trained to keep you safe and make smart decisions in a winter mountain environment.
